Yaremche is surrounded by mountain peaks, the height of which ranges from 400 to 1500 m. Therefore, the city is the start of ten hiking routes. We recommend visiting the famous Dovbush Trail, climbing up the Makovytsia Mountain, or choose one of the surrounding mountains: Yavir, Yavirnyk or Vovcha mountains for a hike. The best time for a hiking tour in the Carpathians is from May to October.
Try one of the cycling routes in Yaremche, the length varies from 6 km to 27 km. You will be able to choose the route to your heart: from the initial level of difficulty to extreme descending and climbing. Choose what you are most interested in: a tour around the city on its streets, the Prut river or the Probiy waterfall.
Horseback riding has a healing effect and involves all muscles of the human body in exercising. So this is one of the most pleasant ways to spend time. Moreover, we suggest exploring the area: to drive to the Divochi Slozy or Probiy waterfalls or just riding in the mountains. Horseback riding routes last from 2 to 6 hours. This kind of retreat will be useful and enjoyable.
A huge number of hiking and cycling routes is one of the main advantages of the Carpathians. However, one should not forget about the existence of ATVs and rafting. Also, there is Bukovel Ski Resort where you can practice skiing and snowboarding in just one hour drive from Yaremche.
